Homburg active in Kyrgyzstan

March 2006

Homburg Machinehandel from Stiens and the Herder Company from Middelburg signed a contract for supply and maintenance with Kyrgyzstan. Back in 2004 Homburg has been doing business with Kyrgyzstan. In those days they supplied three container loads of goods. This time Homburg is going to supply four tractors with four Drain Cleaners, as well as parts and training.

The contract, signed last week at the Chamber of Commerce building in Leeuwarden, covers the maintenance work of open (ditches and canals) and closed drains. It is part of an agricultural development project. A delegation from Kyrgyzstan was in Friesland to discuss details of the contract last week. Among the delegation members was the deputy Minister of Agriculture.
